At least I hope so. Things are mostly back on track after this weekend, except for a balky water heater. Let’s see, what’s happened since I last posted? I finished my cake class last week
I didn’t have as much time as I wanted to prep for it, with the car problems and all, but I’m still very happy with it.
There was a Primus concert, which was a good time. Here’s the obligatory blurry phone picture:
Duke is also getting back on track, although he’s even more attention hungry than before, which I didn’t think was possible.
One of my peony bushes has bloomed. Steve bought them for me the day after our wedding, and I always love when they bloom in time for our anniversary.
And in ‘small things that make me happy’, I finally tried the Sally Hansen nail strips. I loved them! They seemed kind of pricey, $9.99 at Walgreens, but you get 2 packages of 8 strips, and I got a full manicure out of one package. Five bucks a manicure is not bad at all, and they seem to be holding up fairly well:
And it’s our anniversary on Monday. Now to figure out what we’re doing.
